Hello, I’m Marie.
I was born in Stuttgart, moved to London after finishing school, then to Cologne for my medical studies, back to Stuttgart for work, cycled halfway around the world, and eventually landed in Berlin in 2021. I have been living and working here ever since.
Yes, I have moved around quite a bit, seen, experienced and encountered many different things, and — also thanks to my privileges — I was often able to let myself be guided by my curiosity and my sense of adventure. I am very grateful for that today.
After completing my medical studies, my professional path led me into internal medicine, where I worked as a resident physician in cardiology, gastroenterology and oncology. Once I had saved enough money, I set off — cycling all the way to India and back.
Afterwards, I wanted to take a new professional path that would allow me to work more closely and holistically with people. I therefore began my training in Gestalt and body-oriented psychotherapy. Soon after, I started working as a physician in the field of psychosomatics and psychotherapy in an inpatient clinic, where I worked with individuals and groups.
Since the end of 2025, I have moved into my own psychotherapy practice, where I offer Gestalt and body-oriented psychotherapy, facilitate workshops and lead a self-experience group. You can find out more about the workshops here and about the group here.

At the same time, I joined the executive training team of my training institute, the Gestalt Institut Frankfurt a. M. e. V. (GIF), where I will guide and lead future training groups.

What I particularly love about my work is creating a space in which people can meet themselves and others with curiosity, experience themselves and grow — and, above all, be just as they are in that exact moment.
It is a space where one can reconnect with oneself, one’s own body, nature and Mother Earth, as well as with other people, and invite and celebrate one’s own aliveness.
